Shirls Cards

I make 3d decoupage cards, as “Shirls cards” and I have always made things. I have done some dressmaking, knitting, wool & silk tapestries and now card making.

We moved to Somerset when we retired from British Airways and then I started making cards again, which started as a hobby and has grown from there.

My cards have multiple layers, giving them a 3d look, I use crystals, pearls and glitter to embellish. Some of my cards are best seen out of the packaging, these can be easel cards, pop-up cards and concertina cards.

I have also made some cards from photographs, these are very personal and one off cards.
